My day is a Thursday...
So everyone has their bad day and mine is a Thursday. I struggle with this day soo bad and this keeps me away from things I love like going college. It stops me because its my big anxiety panic day even if you don't have anxiety you may relate to the draining feeling, that makes you want to skip the day. Most people would say "mines a Monday" and we all can relate to that.
But guess what I did it, this week I went in on Thursday-ish. I say that because I faced my fear and went in on a Thursday, its just I kind of left early but that's only because I panic when I was there. Even if I didn't do a full day I still went in. And for my surprise in my commercial (animal lesson) my class and me got to see their dogs in the kennels. We took 4 of them on a walk and let them off lead in a fenced in field they had so much fun. I did get a bit nervous when they were running round us because they did trip a few people up. But they were soo sweet. If I didn't go in I would of never seen the dogs and had so much fun. So I'm proud I went in.
Even though I love typing up my days so I can look back and remember my stories, I also want to relate to people. So please comment on the comment page your panic day. Everyone has one or just a day you don't like. But its okay because you can do it, you can beat your fear. Just work through it and you'll be fine. I mean its terrifying and extremely hard most days but you can do it, just fight back.
Here are some methods you can use to get through your day:
1> mountain method
I use this one every Thursday, to do this you picture yourself as a mountain (you can picture a mountain or draw a mountain in your mind) while picturing it, image a strong wind (that is your bad day). Now comes the hard bit you need to picture the wind blowing you over. But you stand tall nothing can knock you down. You are in control.
2> 5 things
You can use this anywhere but I find it better outside. So you need to....
> 5 things you can see
> 4 things you can hear
> 3 things you can smell
> 2 things you can feel
> 1 thing you can taste
