Apartment in one room

Firstly I would like to thank my mum and dad for this amazing room thank you xx

So it all started last year, were I felt a discomfort in my own room and it got so bad that I couldn't even sleep in it. I've said I do have anxiety and this was part of it, I didn't feel safe in my room anymore and it was horrible because I love my room. Even though the black furniture didn't feel as appealing as when I first got it, it was still mine. Its just every time I came in I was like "am I really safe" So I talked to my mum and dad for months and months, a bit annoying of me of course but I couldn't get it out my head. There may be a bit more to my anxiety that I'm not sure I can talk about yet but that was the thing that was stopping me completing in feel safe.

Finally my mum and dad said we could go Ikea, this was a big step, but it wasn't to get a new bedroom style it was just to look around. I felt so comfortable going in each like stage scene and it was so much fun looking around the new furniture. I also got to use one of the shopping list so if I did see something I could write it down and to be fair it was a short list... Well until the next time we went hehe, yep we went again and again to look around to see all the furniture. My list got longer and I knew what I wanted to make up a perfect apartment room. I of course didn't know if it would feel safe or perfect but it was a style that I loved plus the furniture was all white.

It then took a few more weeks until my dad saved up and I thought he would just get me the bed first but no he surprised me in getting all new furniture. I was soooo excited and couldn't wait till Tuesday when it all came.

But I had babysitting that night, so the start of the building was just my dad and brother... they built my bed first!

Its a double loft bed from Ikea and I love it. The only problem it getting up because I always bang my head (ow) but when I'm up its so out the way and secure. I've also added pictures on the side and some my sister and her friend's drawings they did me on the left. Shout out to tegan and teya thank you for my drawings hehehehe

Then Wednesday I had a horrible day at college not because of the college or the lessons it was me. My Anxiety took hold and I had a lot of time out times (to calm down) so as a surprise I came home and my mum had built my shelves and desk and I was soo excited my room was nearly finished.

(Yes that's a Halloween candle haha)

The same day my mum said a lady was selling a chair that I wanted from Ikea but it was £20 and I really wanted it so we got it :0)

Then it was the next day and I finally got to see some building, my dad and brother built my wardrobe! I was soo happy my room is nearly finished....

Then it was just a few more touches.....

Thank you mum, dad and Robert for doing my room I love you all soo much and love my new room. Also a big thank you to tegan for keeping me out and distracting me from seeing my bed haha it was all a big surprise and a long wait but it was worth it.

Know if you just wait the outcome will be better than you thought.
